Welcome to Notionary, an AI-powered study app developed by Workshop Labs, LLC. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using Notionary on iOS, Android, or the web, you agree to the terms described here.
We collect minimal personal information:
• Email Address — required for account creation and authentication via Supabase’s one-time password (magic link) system.
In addition, we store user-generated content (such as notes, flashcards, quizzes, and mind maps) in our database.
These items are tied to your account but are private to you unless explicitly shared in future social features.
We also collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics to help us understand app performance and improve the user experience.
We use your information to:
• Authenticate your login using Supabase’s magic link system.
• Maintain your account and store your study materials securely.
• Send transactional emails such as login links and account notifications.
• Send occasional feature updates or product announcements (you may opt out at any time).
Notionary uses trusted third-party services to operate and enhance the app:
• Supabase – authentication, database, and storage.
• OpenAI – AI content generation for study materials.
• Stripe and RevenueCat – payment and subscription management.
• Apple and Google – in-app purchases and platform distribution.
• Resend – email delivery for marketing and product updates.
• Google Analytics – anonymous usage analytics.
These providers are used solely for the purposes of delivering app functionality, not for advertising or data resale.
Your account data and content remain stored for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@notionary.app. Upon confirmation, all related information is permanently deleted from our systems.
We rely on Supabase’s encryption, role-based access policies, and secure transmission protocols to protect user data. Notionary does not store any passwords. All authentication is handled through one-time password links sent to your verified email.
• You can update your email address or account preferences within the app.
• You may opt out of marketing emails while continuing to receive essential transactional ones.
• To delete your account and all associated data, email support@notionary.app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in the app and on our website, with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
